We have some great workshops lined up.  We are finalizing details with our work shop leaders and will be updating this page as those details come in.

New this year:  We will have four workshops which will run twice. Choose one of the four workshops in the morning and a second workshop during the afternoon session.

 


How To Draw With No Experience

Debra Lengyell was an art specialist with the Waterloo Board of Education where she taught grades 1-8 Art. She took an early retirement in 2011 to pursue art fulltime. She has exhibited her award winning art in many galleries and juried shows including the Homer Watson Gallery, Box 13, the Hamilton Art Gallery, the Berlin Tower, and the Button Factory. Debra was the featured artist at a show at the Homer Watson Gallery in the fall of 2015 and was then asked to do a solo show at the Kitchener City Hall.


The Power Of Memorizing Scripture

A former teacher and sales executive, Ruth Coghill is an international speaker, author and founder of Words To Inspire - Lifelong Empowerment From God’s Word. This ministry exists to encourage and motivate others to embrace life-changing principles through reading, studying, memorizing and applying God’s Word.  Ruth’s passion for God’s Word was born through her Christian heritage. She loves to provide resources to equip others in the discipline of hiding scripture in their hearts


Writing Our Yesterdays, Sharing Our Todays

Ruth Waring is an author, speaker and workshop leader.  Currently living in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada, Ruth is married to Doug, her high school sweetheart!  She is mother of three adult children and Nana to three grandchildren. For the past 18 years Ruth has been documenting her memoir. She has held seminars entitled Yes! There is a Story in You and thrives on encouraging others to discover the value of recording their memoir.  Through her desire to grow as a writer, Ruth has frequently attended Write! Canada, a three-day Christian writer’s conference in Guelph, Ontario.
